Global Youth Leadership Summit

 

 

In association with Anthony Robbins Foundation,  U.S.A we send children to San Diego, U.S.A every year since last five years for the Global Youth Leadership Summit.

It started with one child five years ago and we are now invited to send seven children. Five from Mumbai one from Kenya and one from Tanzania.

The children in Mumbai are selected a committee appointed by our club and last year following 6 children went from Mumbai.

1. George Abraham – Alumini,  2. Angel Chaturvedi, 3. Saloni Kadam, 4. Rucha Chandrashekar  Naik, 5. Saba Almas Shaikh , 6. Prathamash Rambahadur Vishwakarma and (7) was Prisilla Mwasungwe from Tanzania.

Last year the summit took place from 20th to 25th July at the University of California, San Diego in La Jolla, California , U.S.A.

The Anthony Robbins Foundation Global Youth Leadership Summit is a five day programme that provides participants ages 14 to 17 with an environment designed to boost them into Leadership roles that change their lives and communities.

Global Youth Leadership Summit format includes small group discussion, hands on service, learning experiences, leadership Simulation, games and exercises designed to enable summit participants to identify their own particular leadership strengths. Dynamic Keynote speakers from around the world present on topic from leadership styles contribution. At the conclusion of Global Youth Leadership Summit, participants are encouraged to identify personal goals and make a commitment to community service.

The children come back to India enriched with knowledge and great enthusiasm. Articles by children who attended the summit last year narrating their experiences have been printed in this bulletin-cum-seminar.
